President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's key speech on the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi shows that Turkey wants to shun confrontation with Saudi Arabia and work closely with King Salman while keeping up the pressure on Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, analysts say. Erdogan appeared to deflect blame from King Salman, with whom he has a cordial personal relationship, by expressing confidence of the ageing monarch's full cooperation, they said.
